Long Tail Pro Review – Is it Really the Best Keyword Research Tool?

When it comes to posting content on a website or blog, you shouldn’t skip out on keyword research. This is probably one of the most important parts of web revenue creation. Yes, Google continuously changes their algorithms, but even then, keyword research is still important.  Finding long tail keywords isn’t something you can easily do with your own hands, and for this reason, we recommend turning to a long tail keywords tool that has a long tail keywords generator free. For quite some time, we have been using a special keyword planner that we felt was the best. However, when we stumbled across Spencer Haws’ Long Tail Pro, our opinion on the previous keyword planner started to change from the very beginning. After reading many reviews online, we were stuck on it and decided to purchase it for a trial.

We feel that Long Tail Pro is more affordable than many of the other keyword research tools on the market. In fact, we like how it didn’t break out bank account at all – it didn’t even put a dent.

Here’s a look at some of the things we enjoyed about this tool:

Competitor Analysis –

There’s a section called “Competitor Analysis” that we really liked. In this section, you can take any keyword, type it in and find out who the top 10 current sites are that are using the keyword. You can see their page links, domain authority, their page authority, mozRank page rank, site age, and juice page links. In this section, you will also be able to analyzes each sites meta description.

There’s an interesting “Keyword Research” section that you can use. In this section, take 10 seed keywords or phrases and type them in. It is capable of generating a lot of long tail keywords with information on local searches, average CPC, and even advertiser competition. In order to help you with those seed keywords, you can use a basic keyword generator.

Data –

You can pull a large amount of data with this software. For example, you can look at domain availability straight through the software, which we feel is great if you’re looking for a new domain name. In the end, after you have done your keyword research, you can date that data and export it into a CSV file for future reference.

Set to Any Country –

You can set your keyword searches to any country you choose – it isn’t just focused on the United States. One of the good feature which is popular with the users.

Here’s a look at some things we didn’t enjoy …

We signed up for the longtail platinum version the first month because it was just an extra dollar. Through the platinum version, you will get a column that focuses on keyword competitiveness, which tells you which keyword to aim for. This technique does save a lot of time and we are thankful for it, however, it’s not really needed for beginners – it’s more so for advanced users. We feel it would be best if you try the system out and familiarize yourself with it before you turn to longtail platinum. However, if you feel you are advanced and aren’t a beginner in Internet marketing, then, by all means, go for it.

Conclusion

All in all, we really liked Long Tail Pro and wouldn’t change it out with anything else. With it, you can generate keywords based on your chosen seed keyword, create multiple projects, important keywords into LongTail Pro, export data in Excel, find available domain names, use the keyword competition checker, check the Google, Bing, and Yahoo ranking for your keywords, favorite your best keywords and much more. Honestly, we couldn’t imagine any better keyword software than this one. Take free trial for $1.

With little time and a whole world left, a lot to embrace. A Dreamer and a traveler.
